The house offers a touch of luxury while still retaining part of the original workings of the water wheel.

The area in general is a haven for wildlife with kingfisher, otter and deer just some of the animals you may see while walking by the riverside or sitting in the garden. For those wishing to go further afield, the cultural city of Edinburgh is within an hour’s drive and Holy Island, Bamburgh and the Northumbrian Coast are all easily accessible. Golfers can buy a “passport” to visit the many courses in the area.
